Don’t Hide In Action For Another Year

You can listen to the full podcast episode here:

Happy New Year friends! It’s a brand new beginning and with that comes new growth and opportunities. In the midst of all the hope and momentum, you may find yourself anxious as you get back to work. A sense of urgency and comparison may even creep in. Don’t let this throw you off course, because this year what you do with those feelings will set the tone for the months to come.

If you’re feeling that too often you’re operating from urgency and self-sacrificing, then you may be at risk of hiding behind busy. You’re drowning in a never-ending to-do list, working sunrise to sundown, and you’re drained when it comes time to the other parts of your life that you value. This is the year to be different. The first step to making real change is to admit it’s not your workload or lack of time. It’s not your circumstances. The problem isn’t the problem. The problem is you.

Those who will be successful in 2021, will do so not because they’re lucky or because they’ve been dealt a better hand. They will succeed because they are prepared. They trained in advance. So now is the time to understand why doing less can actually lead you to serving and enjoying more. It is possible to feel fulfilled by your work, take ownership or your life, and make a life-changing impact for your and others that you are here for.

In this episode, I share:

  • Why rising leaders can’t use their old identity to do their most important work
  • 5 steps to get out of hiding in action using the acronym ADMIT
  • How to drop your inner control freak immediately
  • The physiological reasons for stopping and taking a breath throughout the day
  • Why leading from your ego is not authentic

The Post-Game Review: Accurately Self-Assess Your Success Formula

The Post-Game Review: Accurately Self-Assess Your Success Formula

You can listen to the full podcast episode here:

Happy December friends! This month is meant to be filled with celebration, joy, and peace. This season is also a time for reflection. It is the perfect opportunity to dive deep into what has been responsible for your successes this year, as well as your mistakes. What have you been most excited about? What didn’t go as well as you wanted?

So often, we run full steam ahead into a new year without really asking ourselves these important questions. We don’t look at what is and isn’t working.  In our rush to move forward, we lose the rich insights that come from our experience. You wouldn’t run a year-long project at work and not evaluate what worked and what didn’t, would you?  Then why would you ever not pause to mine for the gold within your own life and work ‘project?’

Today you’ll hear how to recommit to your self-awareness and expansion by walking through a process that I’ve been using for years. It’s been responsible for increasing income, reducing hours to work days, doubling annual business growth —even conceiving a baby!  Yes! It’s that powerful. At the end of this exercise, you will have a uniquely personalized strategy to create a different and brilliant year ahead. Don’t miss this opportunity to do your own post-game review!

In this episode, I share:

  • An effective 4-step exercise to create your success formula for the upcoming year
  • What fulfilled bold leaders know about self-discovery
  • How to notice themes from your wins and mistakes in order to make valuable changes to leverage your life
  • Why B- work is great work done

Receiving 4 Transformative Gifts Of The Pandemic

You can listen to the full podcast episode here:

There have been two types of conversations this year. The first is the COVID-complaint conversation. You know the one. We’ve all been a part of it a time or two. It’s when we list off all the things that are going wrong. Anxiety, worry, and stress are at the root of that discussion. The second conversation looks a lot different. It involves seeing the opportunity to declare what you want and bring something new forward. This is the conversation being had by innovators and leaders who wish to make life-changing impact.

Today we’re looking at why the second conversation is the one you want to be a part of. As we wind down for the holidays, let’s find the gratitude in the many gifts that this year has given to us. The truth is, this year has gone exactly as it was supposed to. The question is…will you receive this year’s gifts with open arms so that you become one of the people who expand during this time?

In this episode, I share:

  • The scientific explanation of what happens to your brain when you constantly complain and sit in negativity
  • The value in receiving and welcoming  the 4 essential gifts of the pandemic
  • Why rising above the noise and trusting the journey will lead you to become the most powerfully positive person in the room
  • What it takes to discover and unlock the opportunities that are surrounding you
